About Me
As someone passionate about art and design, over the past 8 years I have studied color theory, typography, information architecture, search engine optimization, information design and, not nearly least, photography. While these last several areas may seem irrelevant to my career as a photographer and only relevant to my discipline as a designer, they're not. In fact, it is these endeavors that have led me to photography and helped create my perception of art.
My appreciation for aesthetics and background as a designer have enabled me to impart an understanding of balance, composition, color and simplicity to my work. Being a photographer entails working intimately with imagery, not unlike working as a designer, so having a refined eye and creative approach is what defines me as a fine art lifestyle and portraiture photographer.
My ultimate goal is to preserve the pieces of time that have true meaning to us; our emotions, experiences, and the definitive moments that when captured tell the stories better than anything else. These pieces of time are what comprise our memories. By using an organic and photo journalistic style, I create exposures that capture the timelessness and essence of those memories. If my clients don't feel an emotional connection with my work, than I am not doing my job.
